Una tappa obbligatoria per i turisti è il Belvedere di Quattrocchi a circa quattro chilometri dal centro di Lipari. E’ uno dei siti panoramici più bello di tutta l’isola, un’altura dalla quale è possibile vedere una gigantografia, una cartolina in tempo reale delle sagome delle isole sullo sfondo ed in primo piano Lipari, i meravigliosi faraglioni di Pietralunga e Petra Menalda, le insenature delle coste alte, la spiaggia di Valle Muria, e l’imponente Vulcano con la sua bocca fumante.
An obligatory stop for tourists is the Belvedere di Quattrocchi about four kilometers from the center of Lipari. It is one of the most beautiful panoramic sites of the island, from where you can see a giant, a postcard in real time of the silhouettes of the islands in the background and in the foreground Lipari, the wonderful stacks of Pietralunga and Petra Menalda , the inlets of the high coasts, the beach of Valle Muria, and the imposing Vulcano with its smoking mouth.
